About the event
A major conversation surrounding COP26 (and our meeting last month!) has been about defunding and divesting from fossil fuel companies and projects. At this meeting, we will read a piece about climate reparations and their costs, and use it to help us answer questions about our own fields. Primarily- what power and responsibility do people working in renewable energy have to stand up against fossil fuels? What concerns should we have about fossil fuel company funded renewable energy? We will brainstorm guidlines for the relationship between renewbale energy and fossil fuels.
